Being publicity coordinator you almost need to write your own article for the newspapers.  They get details mixed up and jumbled.  It makes for a more interesting story though....

Details of the Food Drive are:
  - running for 9 years first started by ISCF and St. James youth
  - 5 years ago QCF got involved
  - In 1997 other area churches got involved
  - First food was going to Partners In Mission Food Bank
  - In 1997 food started going also to AMS & Salvation Army

 When contacting the newspapers, if you can take a photo with you, yougroup pic
have a better chance of getting a photo in.  It is sometimes hard to get a paper
photographer.

 In composing your letter contact the food bank and do some research
there and also contact QCF and do some research there.
